HEAD OF GROUP CONTROLLING
For a successful international group working in the field of medical technology based in Slaný, close to Prague, we are looking for a Head of Group Controlling.
The goal of the role is to manage the team of group controllers and to provide controlling system that ensures the provision of high-quality and relevant data and information for the decision-making of the group´s management.
Your role:
- Lead and manage team of international controllers
- Crucial role in leading the finance strategy for the company in addressing resource needs, improving business processes, driving financial leadership and strategic direction and developing a scalable business model
- Provide financial and performance information, analysis, support and advice to the CFO and Executive team and manage/develop projects to support improvement initiatives with regard to subjects such as:

- Integrated Performance Management
- Performance measurement (as well financial as non-financial)
- Development of Key Performance Indicators
- Reporting and analysis
- Finance organization design, shared services and outsourcing
- Finance merger integration
- Support the development of business cases and approach to enable process, organization and system improvements
- Manage cross-functional relationships within the organization and ensure project deliverables continue to align with strategic objectives
- Act as an intermediary between the Executive team, functional and line management regarding local deployment of group initiatives
- Designing & implementing process and/or technology based solutions to enhance and streamline end to end finance processes based on leading practices
- Responsible person for Group´s budget and forecast creation as well as monthly reporting
- Contact person for all Group controllers and managing directors for controlling topics
What we think the right candidate should look like:
- University degree – finance/accounting, economics, management
- Fluent English and Czech
- 5-7 years of relevant experience gained with strategic controlling and managing projects within an international company, and preferably in industrial environment
- Strong understanding of business and financial controlling
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Good understanding of business operations
- Strong interpersonal skills & business acumen
- Strong analytical thinking & communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business
