Clinical Nurse Manager 

 

Job description

To maximise the clinical profile of Linet UK Limited. Actively leading, managing and developing the scope of the Clinical Team to ensure support and delivery of clinical excellence within the business.

You will ensure you deliver a strategic service to the business and maintain our regulatory compliance.

To maintain an up to date knowledge of the LINET and other associated product ranges, including their operating instructions, and unique selling points.

You will have a strong understanding of key NHS challenges in both Acute and intregrated care and demonstrate excellent people management and decision making abilities

 

Key responsibilities

  • To provide excellent and inspirational clinical leadership and support to the clinical team reporting to you.
  • Effectively drive strategic outputs of the team, and in unison with the Sales Team, whilst maintaining focus on business objectives, company values, service level agreements and effective relationships.
  • Lead, manage and develop the Clinical Specialists and/or Product Trainers and/or Per diem contractors roles through effective, supportive people management, including coaching, motivating and developing the capabilities of the team.
  • Develop and collate clinical documentation and research to support the company product portfolio in conjunction with the long-term strategy.
  • Collate, interpret and act upon KPI’s and ROI tools in order to ensure a consistent team approach and delivery to the customer.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Business Stakeholders to drive further business opportunities in line with the overall sales and the businesses long-term strategy.
  • Plan and implement sustainable and effective process for recruitment, retention and succession planning for future organisational growth, development and success. Working with HR to effectively manage staffing requirements.
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1’s and annual appraisals with the Clinical Team and collaborate with both  Sales and Marketing Managers to discuss performance and/or retention issues.
  • Ensure team are kept educated and trained to a consistent, professional standard, supporting attainment of additional qualifications as necessary in order to continuously improve the clinical performance.
  • To actively undertake internal training with colleagues in relation to the Linet UK or Group Product range.
  • Review any customer feedback/satisfaction experience of the clinical service provided by your Line Manager on a regular basis.
  • Be able to travel regularly, both nationally and within the Group locations as necessary.
  • Keep accurate records at all times, liaising with relevant departments where necessary to fulfil the remit of the role.

To be ready to assist other teams as required in order to ensure Linet UK is promoted to customers or clients and within any SLA Agreements/Contractual obligations. Working within required policies, procedures and H&S requirements.

 

KEY ROLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Ability to validate own and teams NMC registrations
  • Committed to relevant CPD achievement and supporting colleagues with shared knowledge training and development.
  • Experience of delivering proactive services and ideally of remotely line managing clinical team who cover a large geographical area.
  • Excellent  IT skills.
  • Excellent people management  and communication skills.
  • Forward thinking, innovative problem solver with excellent organisational skills.
  • Recruitment experience.
  • Capable of using own initiative, enthusiastic, motivated and able to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to customer focus and delivery of targets, with the ability to proactively recommend clinical improvements where appropriate.
  • Full Clean Driving License (driver).
  • Ensure team hold Medical Industry Accreditations relevant to their roles within the business.
