WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN II
SUMMARY
The Warehouse Technician assists with the operation of warehouse/inventory locations, including receiving, stocking, processing and distributing inventory as well as assembling medical products and installation of accessories and mattresses with hospital beds. This position will also assist in the administrative and Inventory Functions with the Warehouse Operations Lead, be able to assist the Parts Specialist in processing orders, and be able to assist and train with the Production Technician on general maintenance of the equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive, inspect and stock all warehouse inventory
• Pull inventory from shelves and prepare them for shipment to customer – may include assembly, staging, packaging, etc.
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits. Preserve safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat
• Ensure that all paperwork is properly executed
• Load / Unload delivery trucks
• Clean and function check the product to meet applicable standards
• Perform minor repairs on furniture and/or equipment
• Assembly of hospital beds and in installation of accessories or integrated components.
• Uncrating of beds and accessories
• Conduct periodic cycle counts for inventory management.
• Assist with administrative functions such as-transfers, BOL’s, inventory reports and delivery notes
• Assist with maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse and organization layout in accordance to warehouse operational directions.
• Navigate through the inventory management system of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Assist with the distribution of parts according to the directives of the Parts Specialist.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma
• One-year related experience and/or training
• Experience or ability to be trained to driving a “C” size truck, Forklifts (Certification preferred).
• Basic Electro-mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Inventory control experience preferred but not required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from sales and service personnel.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and offer appropriate solutions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, and push hospital beds and parts boxes/components. The employee frequently is required to sit and stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is located at the North American Warehouse located in Huntersville, NC.
TRAVEL
This position does not require travel.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary: $41,600K
