REGIONAL DIRECTOR HUMAN RESOURCES, AMERICAS - Hybrid

 

SUMMARY

The Regional HR Director, Americas will be a strategic leader with a deep, hands-on understanding of HR practices. You will partner with all levels of LINET across the Americas (US, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico) to align people strategy and initiatives with business objectives. This role requires an individual who is able to assure compliance with local labor laws, while creating a positive and performance driven culture. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can navigate complex challenges, and be the key liaison and partner with Group HR.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

 

Strategic

  • Develop regional HR strategy, goals, and track key performance indicators which align with organization goals and initiatives for talent acquisition, development, performance, workforce planning to meet future business needs and other HR programs.
  • Contribute to annual business planning and budgeting processes to ensure alignment with HR strategies.
  • Provide strategic business partnering and coaching to senior leadership and managers in the organization related to the HR function.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on compliance issues and risk mitigation.
  • Foster a culture of process improvement and continuous learning throughout the organization.
  • Ability to leverage data analytics to drive performance outcomes.
  • Drive HR Process and Technology adoption for selected processes in alignment with Group HR (e.g. Global Payroll, SucessFactors, etc.)

 

Operational

  • Oversee daily HR operations, including managing the external HR provider and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and harmonize HR policies and practices across different countries and in coordination with the larger LINET Group.
  • Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in coordination with Group HR.
  • Design and oversee the administration of comprehensive benefits program
  • Manage the HR budget in collaboration with CFO, including compensation and benefits.
  • Provide support and education in change management to achieve objectives and changes.
  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervisor outsourced and in-house HR team throughout LINET Americas.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or similar
  • Master’s degree in business (MBA), Human Resources, Organizational Leadership or Development, or similar, preferred
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP, highly preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in HR roles of increasing responsibility in a global environment
  • 10+ years of leadership experience
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a global HR role (US, Mexico, Brazil, and Canada, preferred)
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll systems (SuccessFactors, Proliant, are a plus)
  • Ability to manage and influence in a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Proven project management skills to drive initiatives and process
  • Discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information exhibited at all times.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Must be proficient in English, bilingual proficiency in Spanish, preferred

Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  The employee frequently is required to sit and stand.  The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT 

The work environment is located at the North American Headquarters: 9115 Harris Corners Parkway, Ste. 150, Charlotte, NC 28269, or at Warehouse located at 10400 Bryton Corporate Center Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078, and remote from home office, as defined by the President & CEO. Minimum two days in office work per week may change as business needs change.


TRAVEL

This position may require limited travel from time to time, both domestically and internationally.
