INSTALLATION COORDINATOR - Charlotte, NC
SUMMARY
The Installation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and performing the delivery and installation of products to customer installation locations.. The Installation Coordinator will also be responsible for training 3rd party labor at contracted warehouse facilities assisting with the install. This position requires flexibility to assist with duties in many areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
- Assist and oversee the Loading / Unloading of delivery trucks
- Instruct and participate in the labor at a 3rd party warehouse facility
- Assist and oversee the unpacking and assembling of equipment and organization of dunnage
- Responsible for cleaning and function testing equipment
- Supervise the loading and unloading of beds at the hospital and also the delivery of beds to the customers designated representative
- Perform and oversee minor repairs on furniture and/or equipment
- Ensure that all paperwork is properly executed – transfers, BOL’s, inspection reports, cycle counts, inventory reports, delivery receipts, etc.
- Perform all other related tasks as required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will assist in directing a team at installation and delivery locations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Management Experience is advantageous
- Experience with Transportation and Logistics
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- General knowledge of warehouse practices
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Troubleshooting
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment will consist of employee’s home office and healthcare facilities, with the occasional requirement to be present at the company’s Operations Facility located at 10400 Bryton Corporate Center Drive Huntersville NC 28078
TRAVEL
This position requires variable travel ranging from approximately 60% to 90%, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Overnight travel will be required, as well as travel via commercial air carrier, personal auto and rented vehicles (cars and large trucks).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The Main Site is located at our Warehouse, 10400 Bryton Corporate Center Drive Suite 100, Huntersville, NC 28078, as well as other field warehouse and customer locations.
