WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

 

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will provide overall support the Warehouse team, complete data entry, audit and coordinate inbound shipments, and inventory control functions.  Responsible for compliance with established internal control procedures to maintain inventory access.

 

Job description:

  • Verify the accuracy of product data including researching and resolving discrepancies
  • Create and distribute established and requested reports to Operations accurately and timely
  • Maintain maintenance reports and other electronic records in LINET systems 
  • Responsible for Warehouse administrative support, such as, accurately input data, verify and close orders
  • Perform load audits on a daily basis
  • Load and unload supplies, as required by business needs
  • Coordinate the order pull and ship confirmation process with the warehouse staff
  • Provide administrative support to the Warehouse 
  • Ensure all invoices, load summaries, and labels are printed, sorted and distributed appropriately, accurately and fully
  • Provide assistance as needed with customer and departmental communications
  • Responsible for purchasing and managing the inventory of supplies for the warehouse
  • Schedule all incoming truckload, LTL and shuttle shipments for the warehouse as well as all returns shipments
  • Retrieve all paperwork daily and filing paperwork according to company retention guidelines
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to you from time to time (i.e. process calls or emails to service customers when call demand dictates)
  • Creates and maintains reporting in Microsoft Excel and other software programs
  • Communicates shipment status, delays and issues with the Logistics Team

 

Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • 3 - 5 years’ warehouse experience, or comparable experience in industrial environment
  • SAP Business One or similar MRP system experience preferred
  • Previous experience and understanding of basic inventory control concepts

  • This position is a non-exempt, hourly position, Monday - Friday
