BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Your role:

Sales development of adjacent product portfolio (with focus on surfaces)

  • Gather and analyze data on market, product, competitors from the filed
  • Identify new business opportunities, incl. new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
  • Understand the needs of customers and design actions that respond effectively
  • Create business and sales strategies for a region & product  (sales model, sales force setup, distributors), act as “project manager”
  • Coordinate with PM regarding promotional strategies, marketing activities and sales campaigns and participate in seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
  • Steer business performance, i.e. sales pipeline evolution, forecasts, analyses

Market analysis of selected markets

  • Key market parameters (size, competitors, prices, successful business models, etc.)
  • Europe (e.g., Hungary, Greece, Portugal, Denmark, Finland, etc.)
  • Internationally (e.g., Turkey, Israel, Japan, India, etc.)

Sales support for Nordics

  • Act as Areas sales manager in support of Nordics MD and Denmark/Finland in particular
  • Development of business opportunities, new businesses and overall capabilities

 

Requirements:

  • University degree - business etc.
  • Previous experience with sales and business development
  • Outstanding analytical skills, i.e. ability to structure and analyze data and write reports
  • Creative mindset to look for ways how to continuous improve business
  • Excellent in-person, over-the-phone and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets, good handling of MS office tools
  • Self-motivated with strong drive to seek and pursue new business opportunities
  • Solid project management and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English; other language such as German, Spanish or French is a plus
  • Frequent travel within the day for face-to-face meetings with customers and other business partners
