IT Infrastructure & Security Manager

We are looking for an enthusiast to join us on the Digitalization journey of LINET Group, the leading supplier of medical and nursing care products.

The ideal candidate successfully delivered IT&S (Information Technology and Security) support & projects, preferably in SME companies with an international exposure. The person would like to be a playing captain of a team (8 colleagues and several key vendors) who is developing, maintaining and administrating IT infrastructure for LINET Group.

In addition of being a playing captain, the candidate will provide the strategic direction for the infrastructure function, lead the development of IT infrastructure & security strategy and establish architecture standards and procedures for the organization.

What would be your main tasks?

• Be a business partner
• Act as a playing captain and leader for your team
• Motivate your team to maintain a positive customer focus and foster a collaborative team culture. Mentor junior colleagues to support their professional development
• Manage and direct the day-to-day work of the team and related vendors
• Collaborate well with business and other IS teams to achieve shared objectives, provide strategic insight, and lead continuous improvement efforts in your area
• Manage demands and initiatives, prioritize based on business goals and allocate resources
• Proactively identify ways to avoid recurrence of issues by regularly improving the processes
• Provide a reliable a highly available IT Infrastructure Services & Security
• Manage server rooms and DR solutions. If the infrastructure is hosted outside of LINET Group premises, ensure that the vendor adheres to LINET Group's processes and security standards
• Prepare and manage related budget

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization 
• An ability to market and promote the team and to advocate for necessary resources, support, and policies as required by the business
• The ability to manage time effectively while setting the tone of the team through effective leadership.
• Knowledge and understanding of building blocks for IT Infrastructure (On Premise solutions, Cloud Solutions, Physical Layer, Network Layer, Server Layer, O/S Layer, Virtualization)
• Knowledge and understanding of building blocks for IT Security tools and processes
• Knowledge and experience in managing projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies, with the ability to determine the appropriate method for each situation. Experience with Azure DevOps tool is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of office tools (O365)
• Fluency in English and Czech
• Previous experience with leading people an advantage.
